When a will is made through a solicitor and paid for,?

would there be extra hidden costs after my passing that I should know of? If so, what would they be for? Any solicitors out there who might help please?

They should not be "hidden" costs, but there are fees associated with the probate of a will and other costs that arise upon your passing. Your attorney (solicitor) should inform you of any costs. For instance, there will be the fees associated with the burial or removal of your remains and sometimes an executor/executrix is paid a fee for their services.
