I loaned my friend two of my dvd’s and I ve asked her for them back several times. She’s had them for almost a year now and everytime I ask, she says she’ll have a look for them. She’s 36 so I’d have thought she she should know where they are or at least trusted her to give them back. I’d just like to know if I should go a step further and go to a solicitor or the police? I don’t want to go this far but if there are any other suggestions, I’d like those first.
Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I’ll ask her partner, who is a good guy. He’ll probably get them back to me in a heartbeat. Thanks guys!

    1. When this happened to me I asked a friend to buy me another copy of the dvd because it meant a lot to me. I said I would do the same for her. If she is a good friend she will do this. If not, you just have to move on and not let people borrow your stuff anymore. Dvds are soo cheap to rent. I think going to a solicitor or the police would be a bad move: pick your battles, you know?
