My sisters boyfriend is Tunisian and he got into a fight with his solicitor about a property sale and he punched the solicitor knocking out his tooth, he is now in a prision cell in tunisia waiting to go to court to be sentanced. Does anyone know if he will just get a fine? or get sentanced for years in jail? This happened in tunisia a few days ago, my sister is in uk waiting for him to fly over, but she dont know what will happen now. Hope someone can give some answers about the law in that country. Well, it is kind of complicated, it depends if the guy forgives him or not, and in that case he might demand money, the best thing to do is to call the UK Embassy in Tunisia, if it is not done yet, and he’ll get assistance by the consulate in case there is anything they can do for him, it is really important to call the consulate in Tunisia, if it is not done yet!
