Everyone needs to learn to respect people’s wishes. if she does not want anything to do with you then you have to accept that. I don’t know what you are fighting about but it must be important to her. Just cause she’s terminally ill does not make you any better in her eyes. And no blood is not thicker than water you are just another child your parents happen to have.
If this sounds harsh it is because I see it from her side.
Don’t know your situation but maybe you should go over to see her in person and talk with her. Family is the most important thing there is. Without family you have nothing. So go talk to her in person. It will be worth it.
You will just have to go to the mountain. All you can do is show up on her doorstep one day, risk rejection and hope she will let you in to sit down and talk things through. If she won’t, you will have to hope she someday comes around to forgiving whatever perceived slight it is you have committed. Other than that, there isn’t a whole lot you can do until she agrees to talk it out.
I really don’t understand why she would be upset with you for becoming a solicitor? What is her objection?
