I have two sons to my ex husband. I am in a situation where my two kids are supposed to go to their dads every 2nd weekend and half the holidays but they seem to go when they feel like it now because my sons are 17 and 15 years old. The problem is with the new legislation in the child support agency going on how many nights they are in mums care and dads care. My ex according to the court order has the kids 21% of the time and I have them the rest. But the kids are not working with the court order. I have told the child support agency this and I have asked my ex by sms to tell them the truth because I do not want to go back to the family court and change orders when I know I may in court for the next 2 years. How would I cover the legal costs if I do not have the money and cannot get legal aid. I need my ex to do the right thing now by our sons.

Fight for it! Don’t let him take the kids’ rights away. Child support is for people who have not proved themselves responsible enough to take care of children they helped make. So there is a court order involved. I would take his as$ to the cleaners, because now he’s being a jerk and messing with your babies.
