I am year 12 in 2012 and would like to study law to become a lawyer/barrister. Teachers have told us to find out what prerequisites we need, if we want to study things at university, I can not find them any where. I am good at Maths, Science, Italian and Humanities, what else should I be concentrating on for my VCE.

Are you thinking about selling your home yourself? then
I’m not sure if you’re from or interested in studying in the USA- but here, from what I’ve read, law schools don’t necessarily require a specific major. Rather they expect a wide variety of classes- so the classes you are taking are a good choice. You could also try some criminal justice classes. Law schools here will also look at your LSAT test scores, so that’s something to keep in mind.
You should check out some universities you are interested in- look at the law program websites and see what prerequisites they require. Also you could try to contact a teacher in that program for more information.
You are doing fine. For admission in a JD degree program in a USA law school, you may need to take LSAT and score a good score – may be 170 for a good school.
