A friend of a friend begged me to look at her friends car on the w/end(im a mechanic)which i reluctantly did.told her wot was wrong,approx cost incl labour.(i stopped doin love jobs on w/ends as i mechanic all week) I reluctantly done the svc & timing belt,2 mnths later she returns with her solicitor b/friend is gunna sue me for the blown headgasket which it now has.Told them was ok when i looked at car,gave no hints as to h/gasket probs.Told them go away & that 60 days had passed since svc,how is it my problem.I have just been issued with a summons to go to court.where do i stand?Any suggestions

i had a 12 yr relationship which was on and off. On and off because we argued about his unpaid child support to a previous relationship and after a fare few alcoholic drinks, if i was talking to another male etc… he would hit me. It happened about 4 times in all these yrs.

We started a successful business and sold it and bought another business and house where he walked out on me 1 yr ago. we had business money in the accounts and he started taking the money out.

as i am left here to manage house and accommodation business, a solicitor told me i had to move the funds, to sustain business and house maintenenace.

we are now going through a property court settlement.
He wants me to release money but i cant, incase its needed.

He wont settle on a financial figure for me to pay him out, but wants some money and worry about house later.

I am scared if i release money, he will use it for his solicitor, of which hes just cancelled due to lack of funds. he has not worked this last year.

He hates me for not giving him money,

I still love him, but have always supported him in all his jobs- the last three of which i hired him.

the solicitor says i had the skills only to do the business of which is the money he is fighting for.

I hate it that i cant help him,

I employed a solicitor to carry me through the legal system to get my job back for unfair dismissal. We went to court for mediation which didnt get my job back rather a court hearing formally.
It was revealed to my solicitor by my jobs representing councellor that the boss didnt like me and that he would not have me back. I thought that was a very good grounds to get my job back or at least compensation.
My solicitor said those comments cannot be used in the court hearing even if it was told to him it would be deemed as hear say.And the most I can claim is 00 dollers compensation out of that his 00 fee comes out and I am left with 00 no job, and no reference for the years I have been with this company.
My solicitor keeps reasurring me he knows what hes doing. But is he correct. Need to know the answer urgent. If theres a solicitor or somebody that can put me on the right track.Id much appreciate it or give me advice on how to handle difficult representatives that refuse to consider ethical principles over legal politically correct proceedures.

He left me. we were arguing so much and had been in business together for yrs.I had given him his jobs the last 8 yrs as he had a back op and was finding it hard to work. I just work in this house all day and ex is five hrs away. He says he will come back only if the dna says its his child, so he musnt love me.
we argue now constantly trying to divide assetts.
How do i move on, esp being pregnant?
I still love ex, but hes never coming back to me.
PLEASE Help- im so lonely .im nearly 37 and hate my life
