ok well my ex husband up & left me went overseas then called me told me f off loved another woman & that he didnt want nothing to do with his son as his new girl didnt want him to have anything to do with me or our son etc well that was 3 years ago . …i went to legal aid sbout 3 months ago (as i remarried & my husband wants my son take his name as we have 2 children together & he doesnt want my son to feel that he doesnt love him equal as my son only knows him as his dad meaning he wants to adopt him but i need to get full custody anyway as for things that needs father consent passport etc.. anyway i rang legal aid they told me i need to get full custody i explained to them that i cant as i dont know where he is… they then told me to send a letter to his sister who lives 30minutes from me (i only had her address as 3 years ago i deleted her number and all asi just wanted to forget my ex ) so i sent the letter saying could she get my ex to sign a stat declaration stating he gives me full custody etc.. well its been nearly 2 months & i havent recieved anything i know she still lives her at her address as i drove past to see ,, now my husband is telling me to go over there (to my exs sister house) & give her the stat declaration & tell her again to give to him so when we go back to legal aid we can say we told his sister by letter & face to face that i want full custody as my ex hasnt contacted or seen his son in 3 years & no reply & it could help us .. im lost at what to do me & my exs sister didnt leave on bad terms she is quiet nice (she was upset about the whole situation at the time ) i havent spoken or seen her in 3 years & i just dont want to bother her i know my ex has a different life now with his new wife maybe kids (as his friends that live here told me ages ago ) .. & i dont want to cause any dramas but im lost at what to do i need this paper this is my sons life … should i bite the bullet &go over there but what do you say after not seeing someone for 3 years & if she talks about my ex i could get emotional not that i love him anymore but he hurt me real bad (as when he left me all i wanted was answers .. what does everyone think i should do & if i do go any ideas on what to say etc.. .. thanks for everyones input
reply ::::… his family are all overseas his mother never liked me as she wanted him to marry another chick which who he left me in the end for …….. his sister is the only family he had here ……

My daughter has been thrown into the deep dark abyss of the saga of child support and custody. Her relationship was over when she discovered she was pregnant. During a difficult and dangerous pregnancy the father denied the relationship occurred, being unable to go back to work she is relying on sole parent pension. Fighting for DNA testing has proven he is the father, he is now refusing to pay child support and is going to pursue full custody. Legal aid no help. I am currently pregnant with less then 2 weeks to go! My ex boyfriend the father of the baby wont stop harrasing me about certain matters. We had been together for a total of 9 months with 2 short break in between. Breaking up due to many fights & lack of interest in baby, abuse and no intention of getting a job! The final time breaking up i had enough of the same matters especially no interest. I ended it on good terms explaining i wanted to be friends for babies sake, i didnt hear from him in months. He then harrased me over hearing from my ex friend that baby wasnt his, claiming he wanted dna test. I went to legal aid they said he has no rights to see her if not on certificate. Harrasment continued from him and family, with threats to take me to court. This has continued to present day!
I am terrible scared of him seeing baby due to his lifestyle and bad behavour. Need advice on whether to claim full custody as family are into drugs and abuse! please help! As im scared!
i have gotten police involved last month, they came to my house and took report on harrasment, the family have not spoken since.
Legal aid said if he does not believe he is the father he shouldnt be put on the birth certificate till he has paid for test. Then he cannot harrase me or baby till he has done so. I have to go back after baby is born to file my legal aid and hand in paper work.
This man showed that he wanted baby at begining(agreeing to keep baby) then didnt show interest after. Think maybe its cause im well off with money and he has nothing.. He also claimed he wanted half of baby bonus after she was born. Thinking he may just be hassling me for money.
Was thinking at begining of going for supervised visitations but i know the family and they will try take her away from me, as they have friend in the situation and their suggestion is "kidnappin". Im ever so scared! Even to go to hospital to have her!
He is the father of the baby 100% i kno my dates and i was with him during conception Many may think im crazy for being involved but i thought he would change at the news of being a father, yet to this day has not got one thing for the baby, or showed interest, god he couldnt even remember when she was due! He just heard of some old friends that baby might not be his, and being the dick he is he believes them and has got himself into more trouble then ever. I wanted to remain friends as i did not want all this trouble in the long run with visitation and custody i wanted to stay civil and make a time for him to see her. i just hope when he realises he has to pay child support and 900 dollars for the dna test he will nick off coz he wont afford it. And im keeping a diary of the phone calls, i have all the emails and online conversations from them, and also what legal aid had suggested, so its not like im trying to go full custody to stop him seeing her.. im trying to do wats best!

..child residency…..how can I have protection from a person if the court sends them to my home? how can they allow it. why do they put my family in danger and mess up our lives? what can I do about it..? I have asked my solicitor but she just said if we go back and get it changed then it will take months more and the court case could be closed by then….but If they are going to put us through all this now, what more are they going to order in the finnal hearing considering he is paying for it? he has distroyed our lives enough..
we were granted protection in April this year. final order’s coming up for residency and he is wanting full custody..
