We have had a cemetery plot passed onto us by our mother prior to her passing away.

She passed away not too long ago.

Since then we have received a letter from the local government advising that they made an error in transfer this plot to her 10 years prior and that they shouldn’t have then passed it onto us.

They wrote to us saying that they were going to change it so 1/2 would be with 1 party and the other 1/2 would be with us. We were upset and asked "How could they do this to us?" Now they are changing it again, so we have nothing in our name at all and need permission from other relatives to use it.

They admit to making mistakes and now if we take it further we have to pay a barrister AUD00 to advise on what to do prior to a court hearing!

What would you do?

We have a purchased headstone for the person that recently passed away and now we feel like we are being ripped off!

the foster parents that are currantly looking after him want to adopt him would they have a better chance as he wont need to move and has already formed some sort of bond with them
I understand that he will act out and I am prepared for that,I have looked into counceling for myself and him to attend and also things that might make the transition easier on him

I have been seeking proper legal advise that is why there is a hearing set for this month

I think that something is up, recently my father inquired about my case to the boss of the firm when he was seeing him about his case and the boss didn’t know i had not got a payout, he assumed i did, dad asked if we could open the case again, the lawyer replied it was never closed. now another lawyer took on the case as original lawyer has left, he has stuffed up my case by preparing a brief that’s not incorporated all my injuries, we found out a few months ago as we meet my barrister for the first time just before the court was about to start, he stated i didn’t have a good case bla bla bla, i stopped him and said this is not the right injury what about my original injury, infection of the hand which then led to psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis after, he had no idea what I was talking about, so I explained, he was not happy at all, as I was not either as in a short time he had to go too court, so he said he will get a postponement and get a meeting with a judge, he did in Melbourne, judge ruled for me to see a medical panel, as I did two days ago, I found out no skin specialists, I went through my medical documents to see what some new medical reports that were done had said and I found out my skin specialist had said I have some psoriasis on my back, thin plagues under control, not true approximately 50% of my body is covered in it and it is severe, I have been in hospital with it sent by that doctor. Now I think that not all my symptoms have been presented to the judge as my barrister would be going on my medical reports as I have only talked to him for about 10 minutes that day and that’s it. I have sacked the lawyer from my case he did not even come to court on the day. The boss of the firm is going to take his place. Im getting shafted and I do not think that I am getting a fair case due to lawyers lack of duty of care to my case, yes its been going on since 1992 when I was injured and I have not worked since and have had no compensation, I truly believe that something illegal has been going on between lawyers on both sides as there is no files relating to the case in 1996 at Mildura at my lawyers, only the bill we grabbed, and work cover victoria don’t have any records either, we have asked, no one knows the outcome as no papers to say what happened are to be found.

the neighbors have already testified,this hearing isnt going to involve his adoptive parents at all as they have already lost all rights and are now going to be charged with child abuse and neglect its between me and his foster parents,yes I have had a dna test already and he is mine without a doubt

I employed a solicitor to carry me through the legal system to get my job back for unfair dismissal. We went to court for mediation which didnt get my job back rather a court hearing formally.
It was revealed to my solicitor by my jobs representing councellor that the boss didnt like me and that he would not have me back. I thought that was a very good grounds to get my job back or at least compensation.
My solicitor said those comments cannot be used in the court hearing even if it was told to him it would be deemed as hear say.And the most I can claim is 00 dollers compensation out of that his 00 fee comes out and I am left with 00 no job, and no reference for the years I have been with this company.
My solicitor keeps reasurring me he knows what hes doing. But is he correct. Need to know the answer urgent. If theres a solicitor or somebody that can put me on the right track.Id much appreciate it or give me advice on how to handle difficult representatives that refuse to consider ethical principles over legal politically correct proceedures.
