i broke up with me ex about 2 years ago we own a house together and he wouldn’t sell i could afford a lawyer and legal aid wouldn’t help me….. is it worth my while to legal get it divided in the courts he kept all of belongings and has never paid me a cent in maintenance for our 3 year old daughter….. also he rarely ever see our daughter exept to try and control me and to hurt me she has gone to hospital i have called him and he does not Visit…. when he decides he wants to see her its only for like 12 hours every 4 months or so…. he does pot and is very aggressive he use 2 beat me with her in my arms he has another child that he does not see and hasn’t for about 3 years what are my chances of getting sole custody of my daughter..
we were not married but my name is on the deeds to the house and home loan
when i left him cops were called for a domestic and removed us from the house…..but i never filed a offical complaint

I got pulled over since my tail lights had gone out (faulty fuse, Bad timing) I had hotboxed a couple of joints earlier in the day and the car still reeked. The cop smelled it and arrested me asap and searched the car. I had no weed so I thought i was ok. The car i was in was only a couple days old. So when he searches the car he finds baggies under my passenger seat carpet and a digital scale hidden in my trunk. Was to exchange another crime for the one i had commited. Me being afraid made up a lie about an buddy who i knew who knew some one who sold weed at my college. (No lie thats exactly what i told the cops) Then the officer said that would work and i think what i sighned was a deposition. I was released later that night. He said id have until nov 1 to find out who the mystery drug dealer was. I just want my ticket and to go to court. I dont know what to do and am still kinda confused. I remeber him saying that after november 1st if i had not done what i was supposed to the ticket would just be turned into wherever tickets go when they get turned in. I just dont wanna lose my fafsa school money over some crumbs. I dont know what I should do. Any helps appreciated thanks.

I got arrested and charged with offensive behaviour and hinder police in May. To cut a long story short my mate got punched by a bouncer and I called the cops. The cops ended up arresting me and my mate (the one that got punched). They used excessive force – my mate is only about 50kgs and 4 cops + 1 bouncer jumped on her! We spent the night in lock up and had to go to court. We both pleaded not guilty so the judge ordered the cops to put together a brief and hand that to my solicitor by 4pm tomorrow. I was meant to have a meeting with my lawyer at 4pm tomorrow to go over the brief. But my lawyer just called and said the cops won’t have the brief in on time. What happens from here? The judge ordered the brief be received by that time but now the cops are not upholding that….is it likely that my charges will get dropped and case thrown out of court?

So to cut a really long story short we made a claim to our insurance and they declined it then cancelled our policy. We’re taking it further with Solicitors and Ombudsman etc but in the mean time how do we obtain insurance with a new company when we’ve had a decline and cancellation. I know most will refuse our application until this is cleared up so does anyone know of a company who’ll accept ‘bad client’s’ like us???
Sorry it was home and contents insurance. We made a claim on a shed that kids lit onfire and they tried blaming us even though the cops cleared us – hence the reason we’re taking it further.

Lawyers dont risk their lives, are not in any danger, dont have to do any strenuous work, if anything they should be paid less. Do you really think you can give an answer that would possibly change my mind? Do you think you are so wise and knowlegeable that you can say the first thing that pops into your mind and I will go, "wow I never thought of that before"? They go to university, "wow thats clever", give it your best shot i could use a good laugh.
The question is why not what. All the negative answers only indicate that this is the monopoly game we play these are the rules we have chosen and therefore this is what causes that result, there are no "whys". More education; irrelevant, market forces; irrelevant these are not reasons of why. Any fool can come up with reasons of what for; it is neccessary to sacrifice virgins because we believe it will make the harvest better thats about all you have really said.
Because they wanted to be cops? Is that how you calculate how much you should charge for a product or service, you dont work out the costs based on component costs you just pick a number because thats the number you choose it must be right?
they have to pay for education? So why not pay it back and then work for the same?????????? they go to uni? So what, who is keeping them safe to make it to and from uni? What the hell has it got to do with anything. Some really brainless answers.
