Ok.. here’s the scenario..

We met and within a week were intimate.. we decided a month later to live together and then for the next 6 years were in contact dialy.. not a day went by that we didnt talk..

My girl at the time had no assets and a basic job paying K.. I was an executive, living near the beach I owned a business was earning six figures and drove a new BMW..

6 years forward.. she runs off one day.. only a week after I had relocated my office and life 500 meters from her family home.. i have never seen her since !!

I then heard she was preganant and already married to another guy !!

so clearly she cheated me clearly..

but she denies it all.. she has told everyone we had broken up years ago.. but i have proof we were still living together .. thats easy to prove..

i can also prove i spent 0,000 just in food, bills and rent as we lived either 20 meters off the beach or somewhere with sweeping city views for 6 years.. and i usually paid all the bills and most of the rent.

we also had businesses together.. and i had registered one in her name.. as we planned ot marry so she was gonna work it while pregnant.. how convenient.. she took that too and no doubty is working it now with her new husband.. she stole everything i owned in that business.. including stuff she aasked to borrow only weeks before dumping me suddenly..

i now lost my company and am unemployed living off my savings..

meanwhile.. she is living a comfortable life now.. and is rich.. married and already has kids..

i am still stuck 500 meters from her parents home !!

i can sew her under de facto laws but no solicitor seems ot be interested..

does anyone know my rights here.. coz this feminist has completely robbed me.. and she did it with a smile on her face.

I left my husband after months of emotional abuse which i didnt realise and i had found out he had lied to me into getting married. whilst dating he showed me every good side of him bery rarely fighting except when he became upset when he couldnt contact me amongst other insecure things ie calling me or messaging me every 10 mins (no exhaguration i have checked the phone bills). he told me he had a contract to move to Dubai however we would need to be married to live there. So after him moving me away and lots of twoing and frowing the contract arrived so we quickly organised a wedding. I couldnt trust him after this and our relationship went from horribly verbally and financially abusive him taking all money out of our account the day before all payments had to come out, where i would have to draw on my credit, then he would make up for the next couple of days or weeks. this went on with him seeing a pshychologist and became more and more volatile eventually i had to leave after he became physically abusive. I have established my life elsewhere having to move back home with my mum and dad for emotional and financial support however he during our relationship he put all bills in my name and has no left me with thousands of dollars of debt and I have found out he had had an abusive history. I want to move on with my life however i have this huge debt im trying to pay off which he has walked away from about 90k. I went to see a solicitor and they have told me it will cost more and take years to settle as there are no physicall assets.His solicitor has sent letters agreeing to pay his phone bill only. How can i get him to pay for his debts without it costing me money i dont have. He earns 150k pa and myself 40k pa he has no debts in his name and had walked away and has no remorse in his words ‘i left so its my problem’ i need to know who to call and what he should have to pay, My current solicitor thinks i should be lucky to be alive and just put my head down and pay the debt off, however it just doesnt feel right that he did this and gets to do what he wants and i will have to spend the next 4 years paying of this debt.
I would appreciate any advice.

My husband’s dad was cruel to him then left him when he was about 5. Hubby has brothers and they were treated the same, his father died about 4 mths ago and hubby only found out through a family friend who spotted the death notice in the paper. The father had been living in a classy nursing home and never wanted to see his kids. My husband wanted to know about his will and the nursing home kept palming him off saying they would call back but never did we finally found out one of the nurses was made an exec. of the will and instructed the nursing home not to give her name and no. as she didn’t want to be tracked down. We went to see a solicitor who found out who was representing the nurse and sent him a letter requesting he will. Her solicitor ignored ours until he sent them a letter threatening to summons him to court for not handing it over. Then we got it. We have requested to know what his assets were and have no response. They won’t submit it to probate…TO BE CONTINUED
because they don’t want us to make a claim for it..our solicitor said it can go on for years they don’t have a specific time to submit it to probate. In the mean time it’s costing us in fees for our solicitor to look out for it. We have seen the will and there are statements in there refering to ‘the said asset’ but therer is nothing to say what exactly the ‘said asset’ is?? I’m starting to wonder if this is all worth it..Hubby actually contacted the nurse and asked why he wasnt told he died, she replied, it was his wishes not to let you know. She said in case you are wondering there isn’t much money left we had to pay for his funeral costs etc. We know before his own mother died she placed nearly 0,000 in his a/c and he already had another 0,000. Is there anything else we can do with this? Should we be harder on our sol. to be more active in it?
free ‘idiot’ – Did you bother to read properly?? His father was cruel to him and obviously ignored the fact he had family to leave any assets to except a nurse! If he remarried and had another life with someone else then we wouldn’t want any of it. Vultures? Get a life and grow up looser!!

I am interested in hearing from anyone that has had difficuly in divorce particulary where ex spouses hide assets. In this case, he is particulary wealthy and has taken all assets out of his name. He has reduced child support (by recieving cash in hand – family business empire) to figure not worth quoting. i spend this amount just in travelling to work one way per day. problem is, because I work, I am not entitled to legal aid. There for, for me to take him to court, it will cost up to an estimated k Aud. The very reason I need to go to court as he owes me k, we need to divide assets and I need help paying for childcare etc. I think it is appalling that if I leave my job, I can apply for legal aid, however why I work and try to be responsible mother, I cannot even afford to register my car now which is due. Any advice or does anyone know a solicitor that will work on commission. We can get what he owes me but I need to get him to court.

I am about to take my daughters deadbeat dad to court over Child Support Payments as I suspect he is purposefully hiding his income to reduce his liability to the rediculous amount of .00 per month. For the last 10 years his income has been on average -k, resulting in Child Support Payments of 0 per month. I know that he is not earning only k per year as he claims as he could not afford his home, cars, business/factory etc, and suspect his wife, who works with him in their business is taking home most of the money in her name. Will a court rule a back payment if he is found guilty? My solicitor is seeking a full disclosure of the business, and both he and his wifes incomes/tax returns. Also, if his books do not show evidence of foul play, would his many assets and lifestyle be considered, as these certainly do not represent a wage of ,000?
