  1. It depends upon which side they’re working. If they’re representing Natasha, their goal is to seek the highest possible compensation. If they’re working for Fred, it’s to keep the amount low.

    In systems which maintain a solicitor/barrister distinction, the solicitor does the pre trial work and the barrister tries the case.

    soliciter and barrister are the same thing. your question is too vague – whose attorney are you asking about?
