i have a 5mnth old bub and her father wants nothing to do with her. Never met her and his family has no idea she even exists.
Why is he ignoring Child Support and now my solicitor??? I know he doesnt want to know her but this is not something he can get out of.
Why am i left feeling bad for getting him to pay for his daughter even after the way he is reacting??

It doesn’t matter how you feel this baby is entitled to have the best life you can give it so the money he has to contribute will help this happen. It took two people to make this child and it will take the both of you to support it. Why doesn’t his family know about the baby? This is not fair to them I would want to know if I had a grandchild out there somewhere and i think you should let them know. Never exclude people that will potentially love your child like you do. They would be instrumental in getting him to accept his responsibility towards this child
These guys do change their tune when it comes to consequences and accountability, don’t they!!
Your solicitor should be able to arrange for child support for you by having his wages garnished.
I wouldn’t feel bad for trying to get payment from him! If anything, you should feel bad you trusted him and had sex with him in the first place.

you should not feel bad about wanting him to take responsibility for his child. you both conceived this child together so the responsibility belongs to the both of u. anyway he is the one missing out on the joy of being a father.I hope things work out for u, good luck
