i mean yea you can but, it would seem that if you were picky you wouldnt really succeed in law and they will kick you out of there in no time.

that makes your cases 50/50 right/wrong. or do you have a different opinion of right and wrong, have you sold your soul to the devil?

      Ethically, lawyers are supposed to turn down cases that in their opinion, might not have any basis, or legal grounds. By being selective, and only taking those cases where you have a huge belief of winning, you are going to actually win a larger percentage of the cases. The percentage is what counts. Losing cases runs that down.
      The main issue that I can see (in your question) is that many people think that they are very likely to win.. because they don’t know enough about the law, or they only act on emotion and don’t see the "other" side of an issue.
      I don’t see where you arrive at any 50/50 thinking. Lawyers "sell" their soul when they take cases wrongfully, only for the money, and have no concern for hurting someone else in the process.
