five yrs ago l was injured during work, the problem is that l was self employed and the accident happened in a different state to my business venture, l have a legal team but feel that after all this time that l should have some sought of closure , l have had six operations on my injury with more to follow, l will never walk properly again without walking aids, my problem is that we have been actively persuing this legal venture and now the latest operations have gone horribly wrong and caused far greater damage than l previouly had, l have lost my business, suffer deep bouts of depression, and have attemted suicide several times, simply out of dispair at the legal profession and lack of control, do u think that the injuries l sustained on the operating table should be part of the same case or heard seperate as a medical mishap claim, my solicitor seems to be having trouble deciding, and l dont want my foot amputated while i,m waiting for him to decide plz, plz plz can u advise me

Are you thinking about selling your home yourself? then
You have a very serious situation, and I think you need to trust the advise of your Doctors and legal advisors. You are right, the case should be closed at some time, and the longer it goes on, the more chance is that the bill will get so unreasonably high that the insurance company will fight tooth and nail to avoid paying it and you might end up with nothing!
Best luck. I worked for several years in personal injury and it can be very unfair at some times, but there should be some solution for you in the end I think.
PS: If you attempt to commit suicide, those injuries are not part of the case, and they can use that information to claim that you are unreliable as a witness and that your problems are of you own making.
Concentrating on getting well, healthy and happy again; that is far more important than getting a legal settlement.
It sounds like you are in England. I’m not sure what help it could be, but if you have chronic back and neck pain, you may do very well to report to a good chiropractors office. Get one through an insurance website – avoid the ones with huge adverts – they are often scam artists. Those on an insurance panel will be motivated to make you healthy, not to take your money until the end of time.
