my main question is, im planning of packin my stuff and gettin outta here within tthe next two months, i will prbly have about 1000 aussie dollars in my pocket when i get there, i do have a place to stay, and i do have a eu passport, BUT am i likely to get a job straight away?
i was a receptionist for a barristers chambers for five yrs and ive done admin work.
i just dont want to get there if i have to wait around for a couple of weeks to finally get a job

Before you can work in the UK you need a work permit and I assume you intend to stay beyond 90 days so you will need a visa as well. The UK has introduced a points system similar to the Australian one. If you score enough points you can get a work permit.
I suggest you contact the UK Embassy for current details. Do the test and see if you qualify. If you do the Embassy will tell you how to proceed.
