How can I locate my father's will? – he died 33 years ago when I was a child (Victoria – Australia)?
I do not know who the executors or the solicitor was. Is there some kind of will register in Victoria, or how else can I research it?

Are you thinking about selling your home yourself? then
I’m not in Australia but all property laws work the same, or people could not buy and sell inherit etc. Go to the court records for the jurisdiction where your father died. Bring as much information as you have. date of death, date of birth etc. Remember that things that are in joint title like homes real estate and farms pass outside of probate because of joint tenancy. There is a time limit to file and probate a will check and see what yours is? Probate has to be opened within that time period so that is all you have to check for a will that was probated. Any will not probated within that period has no force if not recorded and approved by a court during the time of probate. No sense lookin for it then.
