  1. Avoid solicitor mortgage at all cost! They typically range from 2% – 4% PER MONTH. That is 24% to 48% p.a.! As you can imagine this is nearly impossible to repay without selling your property.

    You should only use a solicitor mortgage if you are in very serious financial trouble and need money fast. I would only do it if I was selling my property and needed cash out while waiting for it to sell.

    If there are any other options available then please consider those first.
