I should think villains would be able to get off on a technicality – that they couldn’t hear what the lawyer was saying.
It’s just as ridiculous as veiled teachers, or veils in any situation where communication is vital. However, I’d be all in favour of the politicians being forced to wear them – or perhaps gags would be more appropriate.

It doesn’t really bother me. At least they have the guts to stand up for what they believe in, not like most of "us" Christians who just say whatever people want to hear if it avoids controversy…
No it is not right. It shouldn’t be allowed in UK.
The reason muslim women wear this is so that men cannot be aroused by them. i.e. the men cannot control themselves so it is the women’s duty to cover themselves. If a man is aroused by them then it is the woman’s fault. How sad and antiquated.

I live in the USA and they want us to allow them to wear their veils but they won’t allow a great actor who played "The Lone Ranger" to wear his mask that he wore on the TV show. Now if that doesn’t take the cake. I’m telling you, Islam is screwing up the way we live and it needs to stop and the sooner the better.
