I was involved in a 2 car accident whereby an uninsured, unregistered P-Plater ran into me due to carelessness. The police report states that he was in the wrong and not looking. My car has been written off. I have been left with sore chest, shoulder and back due to airbag deployment, seatbelt contusions and the force of the impact. It has been 2 weeks since the accident. Insurance only covers the cost of the car and not on-road costs. Because the car was only 2 1/2 years old and we’ve already paid for onroad costs when we brought the car, we don’t feel we should have to pay it again. We’re seeing a solicitor tomorrow to find out where we stand as far as suing the other driver for these onroad costs, and for injury damages. Has anyone gone through this and do you know if we have any chance or not of getting money from this driver to cover all of this?

Are you thinking about selling your home yourself? then
Here’s a site for a company that will help explain airbag failures, accidental airbag deployments and other vehicle related claims. This company works with lawyers and insurance companies to determine the circumstances that led up to these events and helps determine if there is reasonable cause for legal action. In order for an airbag to deploy, certain criteria have to be met and each manufacturer designs their cars differently. The investigations are performed by expert technicians who have been working on airbag systems since they started.
My first suggestion is to contact a lawyer and discuss with them the circumstance of your case. Most of them will give you a free consultation. Then, if you are looking for a company that does airbag deployment investigations and can read the airbag module after an accident, try this company. They can help you with your claim if you decide to go forward legally. They work with insurance companies, law firms and individuals regarding all kinds of auto claims and investigations. They are an independent company so the answers they provide after an investigation are impartial and true, regardless of whose case it helps.
Sorry about your situation.
Good Luck
I hope this helps
