Can you tell me why lawyers do not reside at the place where they have their office.?

Is there any security reasons as to why lawyers do not want to reside at where they work. Is the legal profession a dangerous profession. Is there any risks involved/

Of course there might be the risk of a disgruntled client.

But I think the main reason is that they work out of offices that aren’t equipped with living spaces, just like any other office

I don’t know there any security reason but I won’t want anybody knock on my door at any hour. I would want to keep work and private life apart.
