Im breastfeeding my 3 month old daughter! i have a appointment with my solicitor which will take approx 4 hrs! i have tried to give her expressed milk in a bottle but she refuses to take it! how do i get her to drink from a bottle while im not there to feed her??

Are you thinking about selling your home yourself? then
Express milk and have it handy – she will eat if she is hungry. Also, feed her right before leaving for your appointment. Some babies will not eat at all and wait for mommy to return – in this instance, that’s okay as well. She may not like the bottle, but try a cup or even once, my mother had to give my son the expressed milk with a baby dropper.
If she gets hungry enough she will. Nasty rubber nipple!
Can’t you take her w/you?
that is a process in its own for a child who has never taken a bottle, try different kinds of nipples. Or dripping a bit from it onto her lips so she knows what it is.
Can you take her with you?
Have you tried getting someone else to give her a bottle. She is probably reluctant to take it from you as she knows you have the real stuff on tap, lol.
Try experimenting with different teats.
When your daughter is really hungry Im sure she will feed from the bottle, ive expressed once and my 3 month old son took the bottle, im sure shell open her mouth to anything when she hungry.
If not, Im sure the solicitor should allow u to have a breastfeeding break..Good luck
take her with you, and take a blanket or breastfeeding cover. I had a court date when my baby was 2 months, I had to take her with me anyway because I had nobody to watch her, my husband was working. I fed her outside in the truck right before it was time for my appointment, but my lawyer was late so I waited an hour for him in the court’s main area, she got hungry right before he showed up so I fed her. nobody said anything to me. I did cover up. but dont be ashamed to feed your daughter! some places have laws protecting your right to nurse anywhere. and I don’t think there is anywhere that has laws AGAINST it, the only law I know of that may come into play is Public indecency but I doubt even if you didnt cover yourself that anyone would have any luck pressing those charges.
Try using a cup. Babies are usually able to "lap" up milk from a cup! It sounds weird, but cups are often used to avoid nipple confusion.
