In America you get into a law office by buying your way in, that’s why there are no unions. However there is such a thing as a Bar Association which attorneys pay for a membership to get in and they have an ethics committee that saves lawyers butts if they get into trouble…kinda like a union except they don’t determine the income or fees, the law firms do that.
